Song of the Day: Blu & Exile - 'My World Is'

I've only recently come to know who Blu is. I'd struck up correspondence with a band known as The Park via Twitter and saw a link for a video they'd posted. When I saw The Times video from Kee & Zee's upcoming project, Ridin' High, I'd never heard of Blu, Keelay, Zaire, or Fortilive and I only knew of Nino Moschella because I saw him open for Alice Russell @ The Independent.
The first time I heard The Times, I liked it and it was immediately placed in heavy rotation. A couple of weeks later, I even got to meet Keelay at Darondo's performance at Slim's. I complimented the track, told him I was looking forward to hearing Ridin' High. I kept it short and simple for two reasons. One, I didn't want to come off like a 'Stan' and two, It was his birthday and he had a plastic cup in his hand, so I didn't want to ruin the man's night. Anyway, I'm posting My World Is… from the 2007 album, Below The Heavens by Blu & Exile. There are a couple of bonuses too. Listen and download after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
