We should all know by now that Blu is a dope rapper and, judging from the beats I've heard, I know he's a dope producer. Apparently, Sene does too. Sene’s upcoming mixtape, Maltas & Music, drops on September 15th featuring this track produced by Blu aka GODlee Barnes. His upcoming album which drops next month, A Day Late & A Dollar Short, is entirely produced by GODlee Barnes. [via]

Kam Moye (aka Supastition) returns to close out this summer with a brand new breakup anthem, produced by Detroit's up and comer Apollo Brown. The track is "Blue Skies," but don't let the title throw you. The flowing lyrics are not about blue skies, but the lack thereof. Kam Moye rhymes about a relationship gone wrong and the frustration of trying to save face in public, a dilemma that many can relate to. He raps, "When people see us in public they think it's all love, like, 'take a look at them two together, they got it all,' but little do they know we rarely get our problems solved. Most of the time I'm wishing that I was not involved." These straight forward, no BS lyrics combine with a looped, slightly eerie female vocal melody to preach the tracks message. "There are no blue skies." Be on the look out the debut Kam Moye album, Splitting Image via MYX Music Label. The album will be in stores October 27, 2009.

The three of these songs share a common denominator. The commonality has given me dope music worth buying for almost 15 years which is the very reason I'm in the store right now picking up my copy of BP3. A lot of you so-called rappers wouldn't even have bars if it weren't for Big Homie so, if you're one of the sheep who just say "F**k Jay-Z, he's old, etc., etc." then let's just see where your career is in 15 yrs and if you're still around, not locked up, pumping gas, homeless or strung out on crack, and you did it better than this ni**a, talk all the trash you want to. "Cuz on the low, half of these rappin' a** ni**az wanna work for me."
There are a few artists whose album I'm going to buy without hesitation. In one minute, I'll be walking into Target to drop some change on the counter for BP3. Deuces.
