For some rea­son or another, I've always been in Nappy Roots' cor­ner. They always man­age to put out a catchy sin­gle that isn't gim­micky, too preachy or gets old too soon. But, for what­ever rea­son, they haven't had the level of suc­cess through their career I would have hoped to see. Their new album, The Pursuit of Nappyness, is sched­uled to drop on 4/20. I know, I know. I said that I wasn't going to post any­more leaks from this album but, after hear­ing this song, I knew that was impossible.There are artists who have earned my loy­alty as a fan and a con­sumer.
