I started this blog in May of 2008. Originally, this site was just home to a CD ripping guide which became pretty popular. I then converted it to a blog and began posting about various things I found interesting. From the latter months of 2008 until the end of March, I primarily posted hip-hop, R&B, andinfo about upcoming concerts. I've never had a 'real' name for the site.
I recently decided that from now own, I'm going to focus on promoting music, films, and people whom I find to be an asset to their particular craft and make contributions through expression in their respective art forms. My posts will be primarily hip-hop related (as you can probably tell from the new name) with an occasional post of various other things that I still find interesting like a lot of my previous posts. The name I finally decided on, HipHopIsCoolAgain, derived from a song by Oddisee which I posted mid-March from the Mental Liberation EP. I've posted that song below for your listening pleasure and I hope you enjoy.
